Systems Engineer – Level 3

We need a highly skilled computer and networking professional with over 7 years experience deploying and supporting Windows based networks. We are a small but very successful and steadily growing IT Services company working primarily with small businesses and organizations. Because of the nature of our work, we need outstanding people that meet a variety of qualifications. Salary range $74-89K, depending upon your skills and experience. This is an excellent situation for the right person, with opportunities for advancement beyond this position, and a stake in the outcome through profit sharing and employee ownership.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 7 years of experience
  • Excellent people skills, communication skills and self-management skills
  • Honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to help
  • Very reliable; able to manage your time and your work, and get things done

 Advanced knowledge, skills and experience with the following:

  • Windows Server OS: 2008, 2003
  • Exchange Server 2010, 2007 and 2003
  • Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V; virtualization in general
  • Terminal Services, VPN and other remote connectivity
  • Recent experience in a Managed Services Provider environment (or equivalent)
  • Cisco Security/Wireless/VoIP Products
  • VMware
  • Citrix
  • Local and Wide Area Networks and Routing
  • IT Project Management
  • Unified Threat Management (UTM) devices (e.g. Fortinet, SonicWALL, Watchguard)
  • Other networking gear (switches, routers, etc.)

BENEFICIAL ATTRIBUTES (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
Knowledge, skills and experience with the following:

  • Linux
  • SharePoint (WSS and MOSS)
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Accounting and ERP applications
  • CRM applications
  • Security assessments and consulting
