What it is: Fujifilm Instax Square SQ10 Hybrid Instant Camera

When the original Polaroid cameras were all the rage, photo-takers had the satisfaction of a hard print right then and there. However, they had no control over the composition (we’ve all seen blurry Polaroid pictures!). With the advent of the digital camera came increased control and more options in terms of things like coloring and composition, but these came at the cost of the instant gratification associated with a hard copy of the image. Enter the Fujifilm Instax Square SQ10 Hybrid Instant Camera!

The SQ10 gives you the best of both worlds: control of composition and a real photo print. Before printing as a square photo (2.4 inches by 2.4 inches), you can view your image on a 3-inch LCD screen and make edits using your choice of 10 creative filters! The camera can also record video and offers playback. Don’t want to print the photo, but still like it? The SQ10 lets you save images to an internal memory or micro SanDisk card for sharing online.

How much it costs: $139.99

The Fujifilm Instax Square SQ10 Hybrid Instant Camera is sold by most major retailers, although it seems to be sold out (tis the season!), and you can also find it through Amazon. You have the option of purchasing just the camera or getting the starter pack with add-on film and a SanDisk with an adapter.

Who to buy it for: The Instagrammer in your life

Whether it’s selfies or scenery, we all have that one person who documents life through Instagram. Whether they prefer selfies or scenery, now they can bring the art of the Instagram photo to actual photo prints! Anyone who loves to update their feed can now update their walls, photo frames and scrapbooks with these awesome prints.
