This holiday season, MyITpros is doing all the shopping for you! Whether you’re technically savvy or not, we’ve got 12 awesome gadgets picked out that are sure to make you the gift-giving hit of the season!

What it is: Wacom Bamboo Spark

Despite living in the age of technology, a lot of artists still prefer to use a traditional pen and paper. The Bamboo Spark turns the sketchbook of yesterday into the digital sketchbook of today by tracking pencil strokes made on real paper and transmitting them to your device. You can save your drawings, notes, etc. locally or to the cloud for easy access no matter where you are.

The Bamboo Spark is composed of three pieces: a folio containing a receiver, a pad of paper and a pen with a transmitter inside. It connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth, works on both Android and iOS systems, and saves up to 100 pages at a time. Another cool feature is that within the mobile app, you can replay each line, stop at any point and export your drawing or notes at that particular stage. You can also convert your handwriting to plain text to easily share with others via the Bamboo Paper app.

How much it costs: $99

The Bamboo Spark comes in three versions, each retailing on manufacturer Wacom’s site for $99. If the Spark you’re looking for is out of stock in Wacom’s store, Amazon features a number of third-party retailers selling all three versions with varying shipping costs.

Who to buy it for: The artist in your life

The Bamboo is a great note-taking device for professionals, but its true value lies in its precise sketching abilities and ease of saving notes and drawings, so artists no longer have piles of papers lying around! This affordable tool will help your artistic friends and family members turn any creative vision into real life.
