In February 2013, IT security firm, Mandiant released a detailed report outlining hacking activities sponsored or endorsed by Chinese officials. These hacking attempts from the Chinese hackers disrupted business deals with leading soft drink corporations and also impacted a smaller oil & gas Pipeline Company with remote access to a high percentage of the majority of the US based Oil companies.
