Sheridan Steed

Since Sheridan was hired in 2005, she has proven herself to be a loyal and dedicated employee. As a shareholder, her efforts played a critical role in this company’s success. She oversees the accounting, human resources and office management functions at MyITpros. Her peers are continuously impressed with her sound business intuition.

What do you like best about working at MyITpros?

“Every employee at the company cares so much about each other, our clients and the quality of their work. We are intelligent, hardworking and yet hilarious on a good day. I love that everyone truly cares about helping others and improving themselves along the way.”

What are you most passionate about in your work?

“Having started out my career in administration type roles, I am most satisfied when I am helping people. Nowadays, I get that gratification by helping my employees learn and grow.”

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?

“Learn! I wouldn't be able to still be working here after 11 years if my position and I were not changing and growing. A while back I decided I needed to enhance my knowledge in order to expand my role more. Five years later I have an accounting degree, passed all four parts of the CPA exam and am on my way to be officially licensed by the board.”

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?

“I love exploring new restaurants or going to music shows. The Master Pancake Theater productions at Alamo Drafthouse are near and dear to my heart. However, my favorite thing to do on a Friday night is hang out in a back yard with a glass of wine, two and four-legged friends, and a lot of laughter. ”

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.

“I am an actual Austin native and have never lived anywhere else. At the time my parents lived in a remote home on Barton Creek and had a home delivery. So, I can literally say I was practically born on Barton Creek!”
