Bill McCharen

Chief Executive Officer

What do you like best about working at MyITPros?
Working with smart, funny people. And that is both internal and external. Internally, we have really intelligent, fun people to be around. People that share my enthusiasm and passion for service. I love to figure out ways to improve our service and really help the clients. I also just really love working with entrepreneurs-- small business owners who have found creative ways to start a business. It’s fun and inspiring to work with them.

What are you most passionate about in your work?
Trying to regularly produce win-win outcomes. I feel it’s important to maintain balance across all the relationships we have, so for example, with employees, I want them to feel like they contribute and make a fair living and in turn they deliver excellent service to our clients. For our clients, its making sure we deliver as much in value as they give us in dollars. And hopefully exceed it!

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?
Own it. I have always had a high degree of personal responsibility. As a technician or an account manager, whenever a problem would arise I would do whatever was in my power to own the issue until there was a resolution.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?
Well, I love that it’s spring seven months out of the year here because I love to run, swim, camp-- anything outdoors! I love all of our rivers and creeks here, and the greenbelts are some of my favorite places.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I’m a musician and songwriter. I’ve toured across the country with my band, Hundred Year Storm.

Sheridan Steed

Chief Financial Officer

What do you like best about working at MyITpros?
Every employee at the company cares so much about each other, our clients and the quality of their work. We are intelligent, hardworking and yet hilarious on a good day. I love that everyone truly cares about helping others and improving themselves along the way.

What are you most passionate about in your work?
Having started out my career in administration type roles, I am most satisfied when I am helping people. Nowadays, I get that gratification by helping my employees learn and grow.

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?
Learn! I wouldn't be able to still be working here after 11 years if my position and I were not changing and growing. A while back I decided I needed to enhance my knowledge in order to expand my role more. Five years later I have an accounting degree, passed all four parts of the CPA exam and am on my way to be officially licensed by the board.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?
I love exploring new restaurants or going to music shows. The Master Pancake Theater productions at Alamo Drafthouse are near and dear to my heart. However, my favorite thing to do on a Friday night is hang out in a back yard with a glass of wine, two and four-legged friends, and a lot of laughter.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I am an actual Austin native and have never lived anywhere else. At the time my parents lived in a remote home on Barton Creek and had a home delivery. So, I can literally say I was practically born on Barton Creek!

What do you like best about working at MyITpros?
The people I work with…surprisingly. (Just kidding guys!)

What is one piece of technical advice you could never live without?

What are you most passionate about in your work?

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?
Laugh and have fun. I think laughter heals and its good for the soul, inside the workplace and out.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?
Eating and being outside! I love Kerbey Lane Cafe, riding my bike at Longview Park or playing disc golf at Metro.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I used to perform hip hop and had aspirations of being a hip hop star and musician.

Stefanie D’Aulizio

Director of Client Success

What do you like best about working at MyITpros?
I would have to say the atmosphere and the culture. Everyone here truly has the same vision-- to help our customers and provide the best IT solutions we can. It creates such a positive, mature and collaborative team environment to come to everyday. On top of it, the company does a great job of sponsoring events and other things to allow us time to bond together as friends and co-workers! The cute dogs that come to the office help too!

What are you most brassionate about in your work?
It would have to be the collaborative nature of it. I am not, by any means, an IT genius. So to create compelling content-- to tell the right stories-- I have to constantly engage with leadership and with the service team and procurement, really all of our departments. Working with so many different personalities makes every day fun and different.

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?
Definitely laugh and have fun. Work is work, but it should also be an environment where you can be relaxed and enjoy being around your coworkers.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?
FOOD. Exploring the restaurant scene here is amazing. But I love to hike, so having the greenbelt, the Wildlife Basin preserve and access to so many state parks is great for discovering new hikes.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I once tried out for a reality TV show that aired on ABC on a whim. I made it through four rounds of casting and was offered a slot on the show! I ultimately turned it down though.

What do you like best about working at MyITpros?
I like that everyone works really hard but still has an amazing sense of humor. We laugh a lot!

What is one piece of technical advice you could never live without?
Always read the instructions-- for anything (even non-technical stuff)!

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?
Learn and improve. I came into this job not really knowing what to expect other than wanting an experience. Since my very first day here, I have been given the opportunity to rise up to challenging projects as well as learn from the day-to-day operations. I am incredibly grateful for the learning experiences I have gained as well as the opportunity to educate others.

What are you most passionate about in your work?
Doing the right thing for my clients. Integrity is a big issue with me, especially with what I do. I need to make sure people are getting the best for their money and also that we’re pricing fairly for our company.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?
Sitting in traffic! Just kidding, I thought you said least favorite. I’m pretty outdoorsy, so I like fishing and hiking anywhere around the city.

What do you like best about working at MyITpros?
The thing I like best about working at MyITpros is definitely the people. Everyone here is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We also frequently have dogs in the office which is amazing because who doesn’t love a mid-day pup smooch?

What is one piece of technical advice you could never live without?
Never make any of your passwords “password” or “12345”… apparently those are still some of the most common passwords. Just don’t do it.

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?
Adapt and learn because no day is ever the same and you can never be 100% sure what life is going to throw at you. If you aren’t ready to adapt to that situation or learn how to maneuver it, you’re going to remain stagnant and never really grow.

What are you most passionate about in your work?
I am most passionate about helping people, whether it be our clients or my coworkers, with whatever it is that they might need help with because to me there’s nothing more fulfilling than guiding people to the solutions that best fit their needs.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?
My favorite thing to do in Austin is exploring fun and interesting places with my boyfriend and 3 dogs Noah, Skyy, and Little Pip. One of our favorites is Barking Springs because we all love swimming.

Ben Bernstein

Senior Account Manager

What do you like best about working at MyITpros?
We have a great environment here. We work together as a team to make sure our clients are happy and that tasks are getting completed. I love being able to play a game of foosball in the break room or join in one of the many events MyITpros throws.

What is one piece of technical advice you could never live without?
When something isn't working, Google is your friend! I use Google to research complex issues at work and at home. Chances are you aren't the first person to experience an issue. Google will point you in the right direction for help.

Which MyITpros core value do you identify with the most?
Do the right thing! The most important part of the job is making sure my clients are happy. I do my best to go above and beyond protocol to ensure we are doing right by our clients.

What are you most passionate about in your work?
I enjoy being an account manager. A big part of being an account manager is working with business owners and planning their technology as they grow. We’ll discuss anything from office moves to new server purchases to network overhauls, etc. Watching my clients’ businesses grow and succeed is great. Having that critical role in their success makes what I do that much better and makes me very passionate about all of my work.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Austin?
It’s tough to narrow it down to just one thing. I moved from New York to ATX for so many reasons. The food, the people, and the live music scene are the obvious, easy answers. If I had to pick just one thing it would probably be bringing my dog to Zilker Park and enjoying the South Austin/Barton Springs area.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
In my spare time I love working on my Jeep. Nearly every modification to the Jeep I have installed myself or with my friends. I take the Jeep offroad to Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, TX. I love challenging my Jeep and myself as we crawl over rocks, mud and obstacles that most cars and trucks can't even imagine getting through."

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
My first career was as a weekend disc jockey for 96.7 FM when it was KGTN, a small family-owned radio station on the square in Georgetown. I hung onto that gig until I moved to Lubbock where I worked as a weekend disc jockey for 94.5 KFMX. I moved back to Austin to go to University of Texas, and that ended my career in radio.
